Why Trisha Paytas Had Her Tubes Removed After Baby’s “Traumatic” Birth

Trisha Paytas is happy with the number three.

While announcing the birth of her and husband Moses Hacmon’s third baby Aquaman Moses Paytas-Hacmon, the YouTuber described her son as her “final baby, for sure” because of the difficult C-section delivery she experienced.

“Right when we had this baby, a nurse came in and she goes, ‘Oh, are you guys gonna try for an even four?’” Trisha said on the July 22 episode of her Just Trish podcast. “I was like, ‘Lady, I just had a third traumatic birth.’”

The 37-year-old explained, “This was the most chaotic, traumatizing birth of my life.”

And as she later put it, “I actually thought I was going to die—I was like, ‘I don’t know if I can handle this.”

As a result Trisha—whose other two kids Malibu, 2, and Elvis, 10 months, with Moses were also born via C-section—decided to make an impactful health decision.

“For me personally, three C-sections was too many—my age, all that stuff considered,” she shared. “I did get my tubes out, which I’m very happy.”

And while Trisha acknowledged that others may feel hesitant to openly discuss getting their fallopian tubes surgically removed, she tackled the topic head on.

“It was mostly for health reasons ‘cause the C-section was a little scary and dangerous,” the influencer continued. “Even the doctor had said the reason there was a laceration [was] because my uterine lining was so thin and it was just really scary.”

As for her mindset now that she’s nearly two weeks out from Aquaman’s July 12 birth? She’s content.

“The doctors tell you all the time you could feel regret because it’s irreversible,” Trisha said, “but it was my choice and it was for my health.”

She added, “You don’t have to ask if there’s baby number four coming. And the only reason I say that is because I truly feel so good about the decision.”
