After missing out on starting things off on Friday, the Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles begin their weekend series on Saturday afternoon in the Motor City with a doubleheader.
These two teams were supposed to begin a three-game series on Friday night, but rain pushed the start of the set to Saturday.
The Tigers head into the final series of a stretch of 10 games at Comerica Park with a great deal of confidence. Though they were not able to sweep their American League Central rivals, the Kansas City Royals, at the beginning of the homestand, Detroit came back by taking two out of three against the San Diego Padres, who arrived in the Motor City with the best record in the MLB.
