Whataburger offering 75-cent burgers for 75th anniversary

National Whataburger Day is Aug. 8, and the beloved burger chain is offering 75-cent burgers to celebrate their 75th anniversary.

From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., in the app or online, you can order a classic No. 1 Whataburger for 75 cents. The deal is limited to one redemption per rewards account. Any customizations and add-ons are available for an additional charge.

Whataburger is also launching commemorative cups for their 75th anniversary. You can find them at select restaurants and online at Whatastore.com.

The first Whataburger opened Aug. 8, 1950, in Corpus Christi, Texas. To celebrate, the Corpus Christi Hooks will suit up as the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits and take on the Tulsa Drillers. Fans are also invited to do a special “orange-out” in the crowd to celebrate.
