Transit and parking updates for summer break, Savannah Bananas game April 26

As the summer approaches, several transit routes and Park-N-Ride will begin operating on adjusted schedules. Additionally, this Saturday’s Savannah Bananas game at Memorial Stadium will affect parking and traffic on Clemson University’s campus.

Park-N-Ride, Clemson Nightline and transit routes will operate on adjusted schedules during the summer. View the full list of disruptions and changes on the Parking and Transportation Services (PATS) website. Some changes include:

  • East and West Park-N-Ride will pause service for the summer beginning Friday, April 25, through Sunday, August 17, 2025. Service will resume on Monday, August 18. Park-N-Ride permit holders may park on campus per permit guidelines.
  • Tiger Transit Orange, Purple and Blue Routes will operate on a reduced exam service schedule from Monday, April 28 through Friday, May 2. There will be no service Monday, May 5, through Tuesday, August 19. Regular service resumes on Wednesday, August 20.
  • Clemson Nightline will operate on a reduced service schedule from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. beginning Friday, May 9.

Other changes, including the CATbus Red and Gold Routes, the CU-ICAR Route and others, are available on the Parking and Transportation Services website.

Pre-sale parking for the Savannah Bananas’ visit to Death Valley, slated for Saturday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m. has sold out. For more information about traffic patterns, campus road closures and additional information, visit the “What to Know” guide on Clemson News.

In preparation for the Savannah Bananas event, PATS, in collaboration with Athletics, is requesting West residents’ cooperation and offering several incentives to voluntarily relocate vehicles from West Resident Parking in the R-3 parking lot, Centennial Blvd., Press Rd. and the C-2 lot to the P-5, P-5 ext., P-7, or P-8 parking lots located at the intersection of Highway 76 and Perimeter Rd. Athletics and PATS is asking that vehicles are relocated by midnight on Friday, April 25. Learn more about incentives for car relocation on the Parking and Transportation Services website.

Employees working on campus on April 26 should park in the following listed areas (PDF campus map available):

  • Employee spaces behind Redfern Health Center and adjacent to Newman Hall.
  • Last row of E-1 parking lot closest to the Biosystems Research Complex.
  • McGinty Court metered parking in front of Barre Hall. (No payment required on day of game.)
  • Metered parking in R-8 at Douthit Hills. (No payment required on day of game.)
  • Last row of E-28 parking lot at Douthit Hills (24-hour employee spaces).
  • 24-hour employee spaces in R-9 at Douthit Hills.

No tailgating is permitted in these areas. All vehicles entering and parking in these areas must have a valid employee parking permit. With employee permits being virtual, employees must also be prepared to present their employee ID if requested.
