DALLAS — Potentially severe thunderstorms on Sunday prompted a ground stop at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field.
A severe storm warning was issued for several North Texas counties Sunday afternoon as heavy rain and lightning moved through North Texas, according to the latest forecast.
The FAA issued a ground stop for DFW Airport from 12:56 p.m. to 3 p.m. The probability for extension is medium, according to the FAA.
The Dallas Love Field ground stop was issued from 1:07 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., according to the FAA. The probability for extension is low, officials said.
