It’s not yet a national holiday, but Jefferson’s may take care of that.
In honor of National Chicken Wing Day Tuesday, all Jefferson’s Restaurant locations in Alabama will be offering a chance at free chicken wings.
Those visiting the restaurant on Tuesday, July 29, can get “buy one, get one” wings by presenting a decorated $1 bill.
Jefferson’s is known for lining the walls of its restaurants with $1 bills drawn on by customers, a practice that dates back to the company’s founding. By bringing your own decorated dollar, you can get BOGO wings, applicable to any equal or lesser wing order size.
Jefferson’s has 11 restaurants in Alabama – in Albertville, Fort Payne, Gadsden, Hampton Cove, Hoover, Jacksonville, New Market, Opelika, Oxford, Rainbow City and Scottsboro.
Jefferson’s President Brandon Graham said the company “wanted to celebrate our favorite food in a way that is uniquely Jefferson’s for all the other chicken wing lovers out there. We’re excited to see everyone’s creative spin–colorful, funny, outrageous–we’ll take it. We hope everyone has fun with it.”

The offer is available only on Tuesday, and limited to 10 traditional or 12 boneless wings, one deal per customer, dine-in only.
