Taylor Rooks has been a rising star in the world of sports media for a long time, amassing a huge following on social media in particular.
Wednesday night, the 33-year-old sports host, known for her work covering the NBA for TNT and the NFL for Amazon Prime, stunned fans with a relationship announcement. Rooks, who previously dated NBA player Kendall Marshall, has kept her personal life very private in recent years. Understandably, many of her fans have wanted to know what she has been up to.
Now, they do.
Rooks took to her Instagram page on Wednesday night with a stunning announcement.

Taylor Rooks is officially a married woman. The St. Louis, Missouri native and University of Illinois grad surprised everyone with a marriage announcement.
“What a night. This is love 💍,” she wrote.
Former Fox Sports host Joy Taylor appeared to be a bridesmaid in the wedding. Taylor’s Amazon Prime colleague, Kaylee Hartung, congratulated her on the big day, too.
“TRULY!!! ❤️❤️” she wrote.
Rooks is promptly trending on social media, with many fans stunned – and many disappointed – by her announcement.
“Taylor Rooks is married ????????” one fan wrote.
“Taylor Rooks got married today,” another fan wrote alongside a crying video.
“Taylor Rooks got married ????” another fan wrote while yelling.

Most of the sports world didn’t even appear to know that Rooks was dating someone, let alone on the verge of getting married.
However, it’s clear that Rooks has been in a private but serious relationship for a while now.
The veteran sports reporter has been announcing a lot of big news lately, too. Earlier this month, she revealed that her time with TNT Sports had come to an end.
“After seven beautiful, wild, growth-filled years, my time with TNT Sports and Bleacher Report is coming to an end — and where to begin…. Just look at all the fun we had. The questions. The viral clips. The moments that meant something. I loved looking back at all the conversations we created. The best times of my career,” she wrote.
“Clips that make people smile. The coworkers who turned into forever friends. I walked into this role as a 26 year old woman that had a lot to say and a lot to learn…. And the only reason I’m leaving as a better broadcaster is because of every single person I worked with in Atlanta and New York, on set, behind the camera, on the talent team, in the c suite, in the edit bays, in the trucks.
It’s been quite a summer for Rooks, that’s for sure.
