Whataburger, the super-popular Texas-based food chain, is celebrating its anniversary with burgers for under a buck.

Founded in 1950, Whataburger is marking its 75th anniversary on Aug. 8 with classic Whataburgers for 75-cents. To get the deal, download the Whataburger App to get a digital-only offer online and the app. The offer is only good from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. local time.

There’s a limit of one discounted burger per Rewards account with customizations and add-ons for an additional charge.

“As we celebrate this milestone, we’re not just marking time – we’re honoring the memories, the traditions, and the quality experiences that keep folks coming back. This anniversary is our way of saying thank you. Thank you for your trust, your loyalty, and for letting us be part of your table,” Whataburger President and CEO Debbie Stroud said.

Commemorative cups

When you’re there, you can also pick up one of Whataburger’s new 32-ounce commemorative cups. The first, featuring a 75th table tent-inspired design, rolled out Aug. 5. It will be followed by a silver-striped anniversary cup on Aug. 12 and a classic A-frame tribute cup on Aug. 19. The cups are available for a limited time in select restaurants and online at whatastore.com.
