Tyler Herro scored 29 points and dished out seven assists to help the Heat rally back from a 12-point first-half deficit to beat the Pacers 125-120 at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
Despite hitting 21 3-pointers in the game, the Pacers fell to 33-25 into a fourth-place tie in the Eastern Conference standings with the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks currently hold the tiebreaker with a 2-0 lead in the season series, though the two teams have two games remaining. The Heat improved to 28-30, moving up to seventh place in the East.
Wing Duncan Robinson added 20 points off the bench for the Heat. Center Bam Adebayo scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds and seven assists. All-Star forward Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 36 points, hitting eight-of-11 3-pointers. Center Myles Turner added 22 points, hitting five 3-pointers. Point guard Tyrese Haliburton posted 19 points and 10 assists. Guard Andrew Nembhard had nine points and 11 assists.
Player of the Game: Tyler Herro
The Heat have leaned heavily on Herro all season even before the Jimmy Butler trade and the Pacers had a hard time stopping him. He was just 3-of-10 from beyond the 3-point arc but even those three were key in keeping the Pacers from running away from the Heat with their white-hot shooting in the first half.

The Pacers couldn’t stop him off the bounce as he got down hill for easy floaters and layups. He had 18 points in the first half. He also teed up Davion Mitchell for the tie-breaking 3-pointer in the final minutes and hit two free throws to help put the game away.
Turning Points
The Pacers had a 65-53 lead with three minutes to go in the second quarter and were in the midst of an incredible shooting half. They made 12 of their first 15 3s, 13 of their first 17 and ended up with 13 of 19 in the half.
However, the Heat closed the half on a 15-4 run to end the half and kept things mostly close the rest of the way. The Pacers led by as many as nine points in the third and the Heat led by as many as 12, but the game was tied with 1:04 to go on a pull-up jumper by Tyrese Haliburton. On the following possession, however, Herro hit Davion Mitchell for a wide-open 3 when Haliburton and Andrew Nembhard both cheated over to cover Herro. Haliburton turned the ball over on the following possession and Herro hit two free throws to put the game away.
