- A highly entertaining day saw over 8million people tune into the Sidemen’s live stream of the match on YouTube.
- Hat-trick hero Theo Baker marked his Wembley wonder show by posting this understated snap – below.
- Fans called him an “absolute legend” and praised his “cracking goals”.
- But one reckoned: “Bro thinks he’s Mo Salah.”
- IShowSpeed ended his long search for a Sidemen charity goal – in front of 90,000.
- And after tucking in a penalty that was almost saved, the crowd chanted a Cristiano Ronaldo-style “Siuu!” celebration.
- He raced to the corner flag to perform the legend’s goal salute himself- and turned to be mobbed by team-mates.
- Joe Weller – 9
- Opened the scoring from the penalty spot with a calmly dispatched spot kick before pulling off an UNREAL WWE celebration with Logan Paul which had clearly been very well rehearsed.
- Joe was the Sidemen’s answer to Theo Baker on the day, with some tasty finishes and all-round good play.
- Zerkaa – 5
- Was on the hunt for his first ever Charity Match goal and came within inches of getting after a majestic headed touch and volley after about 20 minutes.
- It looked as though it wasn’t gonna be his day before he superbly dispatched a penalty into the left hand side of the goal sending Wembley stadium into raptures!
- Miniminter – 8
- Clawed one back for his side from outside the box as well as generally being one of the better players on the pitch.
- He often looked for Zerkaa to try and help his mate score his first Charity Match goal, but he would’ve perhaps been better off going for goal himself at times.
- JME – 5
- Had a tough day at the office against Speed as he occupied the left-back position for Sidemen FC, but managed to add a “SERIOUS” assist to his repertoire.
- The best left-back on the pitch and showed some quick feet when he was driving forward with the ball.
- The chemistry between him and Tobi was evident and only got better as the game went on.
- TBJZL – 7
- Shook off his Match For Hope injury in time for this game, and put in a brilliant performance on the right hand side for Sidemen FC, bagging a goal from just inside the box after a defensive mix-up.
- You can tell he’s one of the more talented YouTubers out there. with his clean passing and dribbling skills setting him apart from the rest.
- Behzinga – 8
- Didn’t have too many touches in the first half, but came out in full force in the second.
- Behz has been playing regular Sunday League footy for a while now, and that seems to have paid off as he was solid on the ball and off of it in this one.
- Bagged a goal and assist in a superb all-round Wembley display.
- Logan Paul – 8
- His sensational celebration with Joe Weller in the first half will take most of the attention from what was an otherwise pretty good midfield showing.
- He was everywhere and the engine in the Sidemen midfield; closing down, making passes and doing the simple things well throughout.
- Even added a brilliant second-half header to his fantastic performance.
- The YouTube Allstars won it on penalties – and social media won it in for charity.
- That’s the verdict of fans after the match scooped £4.7m.
- One called it a “MAD, insane achievement”
- Another wrote: “Absolutely insane! For a “bunch of YouTubers” Incredible stuff! Well done.”
- And a third continued the theme.
- He wrote: “Incredible achievement—£4.7 million raised for charity, a true testament to generosity and community!”
- xQc – 1
- To be honest, was utterly woeful in the last Sidemen Charity Match, and pretty bad in this one too – but still better than Cal The Dragon.
- Saved a penalty from Mr Beast to give him some props, but that was about it.
- Vikkstar123 – 5
- It was an understated performance from the 123 at right-back for Sidemen FC, as he proved to be a dependable and solid little right back in this one.
- He’s taken the headlines and glory in previous renditions of the game, but has evolved his game into a defensive role over the years it seems.
- Came so close to grabbing a goal too, but missed when it mattered most.
- KSI – 6
- After a STINKER of a showing in Qatar at the Match For Hope, he put in a good display which included a crucial last-ditch tackle on Niko Omilana.
- Gets bonus points for a class half-time showing of his song ‘Thick of it’ which kept the fans entertained.
- Wroetoshaw – 6
- Solid at the back for his side with some vital tackles at key moments, one in particular to deny Theo Baker from being more unbearable than he already will be after his incredible performance.
- Hit the post with what would’ve been a fine finish in the second half.
- Sidemen are overjoyed with the near-£5million raised today.
- They posted to say they “can’t describe our graciousness and how we’re feeling right now”.
- Niko Omilana – 4
- Missed an absolute SITTER to put his side in the lead with the score at 1-1, and could not finish his dinner on the day.
- To give him his credit, he went for some pretty audacious shots at times, noticeably coming close with a Garnacho-esque bicycle kick in the latter stages.
- Might make a better Prime Minister than target man.
- Theo Baker – 10
- Hat-trick hero at Wembley!
- Rose highest from a Chris MD corner to put his side in the lead and make it 2-1, while generally looking a class above most players on the pitch.
- Slammed home a lovely finish to add a fourth to his sides tally, and xQc had no answer to his ruthless finishing on the day.
- Rounded off his performance with an equaliser at the death which saw him bag his hat-trick!
- A fantastic role model for aspiring, balding, young footballers out there.
- Chunkz – 8
- Chunkz showed some great moments of hold-up play in attack for the YouTube Allstars, using his quick feet and intelligence to get the better of the Sidemen defenders. It was a selfless performance from one of the planet’s great entertainers, who often looked to set up his teammates for a special moment rather than looking for glory himself, bagging an assist.
- The legendary entertainer was able to get himself on the scoresheet before full-time, with a simple finish into the bottom left corner.
- ChrisMD – 9
- Proved that he IS in fact a free-kick king with the goal to make it 1-1 – we wouldn’t quite say he’s at Premier League level, or better than most professionals, but he’s pretty good at them.
- Kai Cenat – 6
- Smashed home brilliantly into the roof of the net in the second half after some great work by Speed down the right.
- He was quiet for large spells of the game, but showed up when it mattered.
- Sketch went crazy after being named man of the match.
- On being told of the verdict, the streamer responded: “Dude, no way! Let’s go! No way! Thank you, bro!”
- And asked to rank where the honour ranked, he added: “This is the highest (achievement)”. Definitely the highest.”
- Max Fosh – 5
- The highlight of his day was getting a yellow card and then SHREDDING it in front of the referee.
- Didn’t do much on the football side of things, but as an entertainer he was top tier.
- Fanum – 5
- It’s a big ask being up against Miniminter in a charity match, with the bloke practically living and breathing futbol.
- That said, he actually did a pretty good job.
- Didn’t quite have it in him to bomb up and down the pitch, but as was defensively alright.
- IShowSpeed – 10
- HE FINALLY SCORED A GOAL!
- It might have been a penalty but he showed some electric pace and skill throughout the match. More often than not cannot add the finishing touch to his play, maybe some more tips from Thierry Henry can help him with that.
- Bagged a fantastic pair of assists too for Lachlan and then Kai Cenat using his unbearable pace on the right hand-side.
- Topped off his incredible performance with the winning penalty in the shoot-out.
- Stable Ronaldo enjoyed victory more than most.
- He posted: “I can’t believe WE won the Sidemen charity match, God is GOOD.”
- Sketch – 9
- What’s up brother? Sketch’s stocks that’s what.
- Genuinely the best goalkeeping performance you will see from someone conceding NINE goals probably ever.
- Looked noticeably small in goal for the YouTube Allstars which was perfectly shown as Miniminter slammed one past him from outside the box (into the middle of the goal), but also made some HUGE saves to keep his side in the lead.
- Made an UNREAL save in the penalty shoot-out to deny Miniminter again in a performance that was Sketch-y at times but overall quite impressive.
- Mr Beast – 3
- Couldn’t score from the spot early on as his penalty was saved by xQc, and apart from that it was a pretty quiet showing from the biggest YouTuber on the planet.
- Angry Ginge – 9
- Just as he was in Qatar, absolutely rock solid at the back for Youtube Allstars.
- Composed on the ball, tough in the tackles and like a ginger (and not bald) Jaap Stam in the air.
- But that’s not all, he passed out the back with ease and his long balls were often the catalyst for YouTube All Stars to move forward.
- The streamer also got himself on the scoresheet in the first half.
- Sublime.
- Mr Beast and Kai Cenat are unanimous on their verdict over who was man of the match.
- Both picked out American Twitch streamer Sketch.
- IShowSpeed’s decisive penalty was the winning moment for YouTube Allstars in this year’s charity match.
- Relive the winning penalty below…
- Despite the game ending nearly an hour ago, the stadium is still full of fans!
- TBJZL has just come back out and done a lap to thank the fans who are still here.
