SLIDELL, La. — “Transformers” star, Shia LaBeouf, was spotted at the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Slidell on Sunday.

Officers posed for a photo with LaBeouf, donning festive beads and green attire to join in the celebrations.

“A real transformer was spotted in Slidell at the St. Patrick’s Day parade…Shia LaBeouf…AKA: Even Stevens!” the department said in a Facebook post.

The parade marked the 50th anniversary of Old Towne Slidell and has been a local tradition since 1974, taking place every second Sunday in March.

The event featured over 50 floats, walking groups, horses, dance troupes, school bands, and more. Attendees enjoyed festive throws, including hundreds of heads of cabbage, onions, potatoes, celery, and carrots—traditional ingredients for Irish stew.
