He’s nominated in the “Actor in a Leading Role” category, alongside Adrian Brody (“The Brutalist’), Timothée Chalamet (“A Complete Unknown”), Colman Domingo (“Sing Sing”) and Ralph Fiennes (“Conclave”).
Variety predicts that Ralph Fiennes could win this category for his performance in “Conclave” and says that Colman Domingo should win for his performance in “Sing Sing.” Interestingly, Variety says that Sebastian Stan should have been nominated for the same category, but for his performance in a different movie – “A Different Man,” which was released in January 2024.
