It’s the end of Resident Alien after four seasons, and the cast of the sci-fi comedy-drama is sharing their reactions to the news.
The USA and SyFy series will close with its current fourth season, and stars like Alan Tudyk, Elizabeth Bowen, and Sara Tomko are sharing their thoughts on social media.
Resident Alien is a comedy-drama created by Chris Sheridan based on the comic book of the same name, created by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse.

- Sara Tomko, who played Asta Twelvetrees, shared a carousel of photos from the set of Resident Alien, and addressed her followers following news of the show’s cancellation.
- “The news dropped today that our beloved @residentalien series is coming to an end. It will take time for me to process and digest this fully, I’m sure… and I will definitely be sharing BTS photos of our many years together in time,” Tomko posted on Instagram.

- “For now, I can say with a full heart that this show changed my life completely. We managed to make it this far despite covid and two industry strikes,” she added. “Every season we were told how lucky we were to still have a job and I can say with full certainty that luck had nothing to do with it because this cast, our chemistry, our crew, our circumstances, our strength was always held up by an incredible team of writers, producers and our ever-growing fans whose unwavering loyalty kept us enduring. I will never forget this time in my life nor the effect this show had on all of us. Thank you for your love and support.”
- Tomko noted that Resident Alien still had three more episodes left to air and called it “an incredible ride.”

- Elizabeth Bowen, who played Deputy Liv Baker, noted on Threads that if she was going to “share the happy” moments, she would also “share the sad stuff.”
- “We’re OK. We’ve been thinking that this season was probably our last ever since we got renewed for season 4. This is just confirmation,” Bowen posted. “Thanks to everyone who has supported the show and continues to support us. We love you. Three more episodes.”
- Meredith Garretson, who played Kate Hawthorne, shared her thoughts on Resident Alien with a post on her Instagram Stories.
- “I am so proud of us. Seven glorious years. Four phenomenal seasons. The priceless gift of a family of people I love so much. And we did it on our terms,” Garretson wrote. “Chris Sheridan and our writers outdid themselves this season. If we have to say goodbye to Patience, this was the perfect way.”
- Garretson continued, “So grateful for all the immense support from our fans. We love you. We love this show. We love each other. What a wild and wonderful ride.”
