Red Cross opens shelter, reception center to assist those affected by Saturday’s storms
WHAT ARE YOU SEEING? YES. GOOD MORNING CAITLIN. THANKFULLY WE HAVE PULLED OVER AND WE ARE IN A SAFE LOCATION RIGHT NOW. WE ARE ABOUT. WE’RE NORTHEAST OF COCO RIGHT NOW, JUST OFF THE INTERSTATE. YOU CAN SEE BEHIND ME. LOOK AT ALL OF THAT LIGHTNING JUST GOING CRAZY RIGHT NOW. AND THEN RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. YOU CAN’T QUITE SEE ANY OF THAT STORM RIGHT THERE, BUT YOU CAN SEE THAT SUNRISE. BEAUTIFUL. AND THEN YOU CAN SEE THE STORM KIND OF CREEPING IN THERE. BUT IF I TURN THE CAMERA TO THE WEST, YOU CAN SEE JUST HOW BLACK THAT SKY GETS. IT’S A REALLY CRAZY TRANSITION THAT WE’RE SEEING HERE RIGHT NOW. AND YOU CAN SEE THAT LIGHTNING GOING CRAZY AS WELL. AND AS WE’RE OUT HERE, THE WIND IS JUST WHIPPING. IT IS. OUR PHOTOGRAPHER LEFT THE CAR AND TRIED TO GET BACK IN. AND IT’S IT’S DIFFICULT TO OPEN THE THE CAR DOORS HERE AND THE ALSO THAT WIND WITH THE RAIN. THE RAIN IS JUST HITTING. SO DEFINITELY WANT TO TRY TO STAY INSIDE IF POSSIBLE
