PGA Championship Round 3 leaderboard, live updates: Scottie Scheffler takes solo lead at Quail Hollow

Scottie Scheffler took full advantage of Moving Day in North Carolina.

The top-ranked golfer in the world took the solo lead and got to 11-under for the week with his 65 on Saturday. He had what may very well be the shot of the tournament, too, when he drove the green at the 15th and left himself with the easiest possible eagle putt.

Scheffler added three birdies after that, too, to get to 11-under. That gives him a three-shot lead entering the final round.

Alex Noren is in second at 8-under after he posted a 66 on Saturday. J.T. Poston and Davis Riley are tied for third at 7-under for the week. Jhonattan Vegas finished 2-over on the day after taking the lead at the midway point, thanks in part to a bogey at the last, to drop to 6-under. While there is still a ways to go, Scheffler appears to be in full control at Quail Hollow.
