MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — Two of the victims of Sunday’s plane crash in Lancaster County were flown and another was driven to a Lehigh Valley burn center, hospital officials said.
The five victims aboard the Beechcraft Bonanza that crashed just after 3 p.m. near Lancaster Airport were taken to Lancaster General Hospital, a hospital spokesperson said.
Two of the victims, they said, were flown via PennSTAR to the burn center at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest just outside Allentown.
Another was taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Two others remain at Lancaster General Hospital.
Their conditions were not provided.
No other injuries were reported.
The plane went down at Brethren Village, a retirement community just south of the Lancaster Airport in Manheim Township, bursting into flames. At least five vehicles caught fire along with the airplane.
