Nickelodeon is investing even more in the world of “Paw Patrol.” The original series as well as its spinoff, “Rubble & Crew,” have both been renewed for two new seasons at 13 episodes apiece. That renews “Paw Patrol” through Season 13 and “Rubble & Crew” through Season 4.
As exciting as new “Paw Patrol” episodes are for children and their parents, these upcoming seasons mark smaller-than-usual episode counts for the Nickelodeon and Spin Master Entertainment original. Previously, new seasons of both “Paw Patrol” and “Rubble & Crew” had 26 episodes each season. With this new order, there will only be 13 episodes per season across both shows, albeit they’re getting two new seasons each.
The reduced episode count falls in line with a strategy shift on Nickelodeon’s part, an insider familiar with the matter told TheWrap. The network has been taking new episode renewals and splitting them into smaller season batches in order to better cater to the pace with which the modern consumer watches content. The network may order the same number of episodes for a show that it used to, but instead air those episodes during different time periods. So even though there will be fewer episodes in these upcoming seasons of “Paw Patrol,” this doesn’t mean the series is in danger or that Nickelodeon is any less committed to the property.
This announcement comes ahead of the “Rubble & Crew” crossover episode, “The Crew & Rocky Build a Bear Island,” which will premiere on March 10 at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT. The episode will see “Paw Patrol” star Rocky leaving Adventure Bay to visit Rubble and his family. But when Park Ranger Rose asks for construction help, an accident occurs that requires both Rocky and Rubble’s crew to step in to save the day. Watch a clip from the crossover, above.
As for “Paw Patrol,” the 10th season will be available on Paramount+ starting on March 19. New episodes of Season 11 are currently premiering on Nickelodeon, and the series’ third movie, “The Dino Movie,” is expected to premiere theatrically on July 31, 2026.
Since its premiere in 2013, Nickelodeon and Spin Master Entertainment’s “Paw Patrol” has become a behemoth in the world of children’s entertainment. It’s consistently one of the top-rated preschool series, has been translated in 33 languages and is available to watch in 180 territories.
