Nobody won Saturday’s Powerball drawing, causing the game’s jackpot to go up again ahead of Monday’s drawing.
According to lottery officials, the estimated jackpot for Monday’s drawing will now rise to $426 million, with a cash-out value of $193.5 million.
Officials also confirmed no $2 million winning tickets were sold for the game, though one player in Georgia did capture a $1 million prize by matching all five numbers, but now the Powerball.
The Powerball drawing takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at approximately 10 p.m. Central. The live drawing can be watched on the Powerball’s website.
Players can purchase tickets for $2 per play, with each line on a ticket featuring five numbers and a Powerball number. To win the jackpot, a player must match all six of those numbers.
Players also have the option to purchase a “Power Play” option, which multiplies all nonjackpot prizes in the game.
In addition to purchasing tickets at participating retailers, Illinois players can purchase tickets via the Illinois Lottery app.
