That’s a good question, but it’s one New York Giants coach Brian Daboll declined to answer. While Daboll “revealed” Thursday that quarterback Jaxson Dart, the No. 25 overall pick, will play in Saturday’s preseason opener in Buffalo, he decided against revealing the team’s specific plans for their rookie QB. Daboll also declined to provide specifics about how much Giants starters would play, only saying that Buffalo’s decision to play most of their starters will not impact his thinking. In a story published Wednesday, Giants beat writer Dan Duggan examined Daboll’s options, as playing time goes, as the coach tries to avoid another slow start to the season.
