- DT Sheldon Rankins is signing a one-year deal worth up to $7 million with Houston, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported Monday. The veteran pass rusher returns to the Texans after one season in Cincinnati, where he tallied 18 tackles and one sack in seven starts. Rankins, entering his age-31 season, has 30.5 career sacks over nine seasons since being selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft by New Orleans.

- DT Davon Godchaux will be traded to the Saints in exchange for a seventh-round pick, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday, per sources. Godchaux has 429 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 120 games played over eight seasons with the Dolphins and Patriots. He has two years remaining on his deal.
