Lap 70 update at Iowa Corn 350: Keselowski wins first stage
The first of three stages is complete, and William Byron led every lap until Brad Keselowski passed him with three laps remaining.
Keselowski, a multi-time Xfinity Series winner at Iowa Speedway, spent most of the first stage trying to get around Byron for the lead (the duel lasted 42 laps). It was fantastic racing, despite cars at the back of the pack preventing Byron and Keselowski from maneuvering the way they wanted to.
Keselowski finished 10th in last year’s Cup race at Iowa. Byron was second in 2024.

Defending champion Ryan Blaney has 80 family members and friends at Iowa Speedway for today’s race. Blaney’s mother is from Chariton, and he spent significant time in Chariton and Ankeny while growing up. His father won the 1997 Knoxville Nationals. Blaney was born in Ohio and raised in North Carolina.
