He spent his entire four-year college career at Memphis and broke out during his junior season when he went over 1,000 yards and was Memphis’ top receiver for both his junior and senior campaigns. He was named first team All-AAC in 2024 and was one of two former Tigers (quarterback Seth Henigan was the other) who earned invites to the NFL combine in 2025.
Taylor was a depth piece during his first two years with the Tigers, but he had 1,083 yards receiving in 2023 and 950 yards receiving in 2024. He also had seven touchdown catches in his career.
Seth Henigan, Jacksonville Jaguars
Seth Henigan is officially an NFL rookie after being signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.
Henigan has a proven track record because he started 50 games during his college career with the Tigers. He earned the starting job as a true freshman in 2021 and stayed at Memphis for his entire career, a rarity in this day and age of college football.
Henigan threw for 14,278 yards during his collegiate career, and that puts him at No. 13 in all-time NCAA passing.
He had his best statistical season during his junior campaign when he threw for 3,883 yards, 32 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He threw for 25 touchdowns and a career-low five interceptions in 2024.
Chandler Martin, Baltimore Ravens
Martin had a shot to be drafted but signed with the Ravens shortly after the draft ended.
A former two-star recruit, Martin transferred to Memphis after starting his career at East Tennessee and quickly became the leader of the Tigers’ defense. He was named first-team All-AAC in both 2023 and 2024.
He led the Tigers with 111 tackles in 2024, and he also added seven sacks and four fumble recoveries. He made 94 tackles in both his freshman year at ETSU and his sophomore year at Memphis.
Demeer Blankumsee, New England Patriots
Blankumsee was Memphis’ deep threat opposite Taylor in 2024 and was productive during his two seasons with the Tigers. He had 677 yards and six touchdowns in 2024 after tallying 901 yards and seven touchdowns in 2023.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Blankumsee can stretch a defense and will have a shot to make the Patriots’ roster if he can also contribute on special teams.
Anthony Landphere, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Landphere spent two productive seasons with the Tigers. In 26 career games at Memphis, the 6-5, 248-pound San Mateo, California, native had 62 catches for 639 yards and seven touchdown receptions.
Davion Ross, Tennessee Titans
Davion Ross began his career at Eastern Kentucky, then spent the past two-plus seasons with the Tigers. He played in 13 games as a senior and made 51 tackles. He also had three interceptions in 2024, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
