Five soldiers were shot Wednesday during a shooting at Fort Stewart in southeast Georgia, according to officials. The suspected shooter, a male soldier, was taken into custody, officials said.According to a statement from the Louisiana National Guard, they are monitoring any threats following the shooting in Georgia. The Louisiana National Guard remains vigilant and ready to respond to threats to our installations.”The injured soldiers are stable and recovering but have not been identified at this time.
