The 2025 NFL Draft is finally underway as the first round kicked off on Thursday night. But we have two more days, six more rounds and eight (barring a trade) more Las Vegas Raiders draft picks to keep tabs on throughout the weekend. Below is a recap of the Raiders’ picks so far, and updates will come as the picks are announced.
The second round will begin Friday at 4:00 p.m. PST and will air on ESPN and NFL Network. Day 3 or rounds four through seven will be on Saturday, starting at 9:00 a.m. PST, and will also air on ESPN and NFL Network.
Raiders 2025 NFL Draft Picks:
- Round 1, Pick 6: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
The Raiders’ biggest need offensively was running back, so John Spytek and Co. took the best player at the position in the draft class. Jeanty will compete with Raheem Mostert for the starting job and will likely take over the job by Week 1. Las Vegas has its bell-cow back.
- Round 2, Pick 37: The Raiders traded this pick and No. 143 to the Miami Dolphins for picks 48, 98 and 135.
- Round 2, Pick 48 (from MIA): The Raiders traded this pick for Nos. 58 and 99 from the Houston Texans.
- Round 2, Pick 58 (from HOU): TCU wide receiver Jack Bech
The Raiders needed to add depth to their wide receiver room as the position group was very thin heading into the draft. Bech, a former tight end, is a big-bodied contested catch threat at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds.
- Round 3, Pick 68: Iowa State CB Darien Porter
Cornerback was another one of Las Vegas’ big needs heading into the draft, and Porter fits Pete Carroll’s profile to a tee. The former Cyclone is long and can run with over 33-inch arms and a 4.30-second 40-yard dash time. He also had three interceptions and only surrendered five completions last season.
