Katie Thurston is killing former Bachelorette contestant Cody Menk with kindness — and comedy — in her latest social media clapback.
“Remember this guy from my season? Me either,” Thurston, 34, quipped via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, August 6, sharing a photo of Menk, 32, during his time on her season of The Bachelorette.
While Thurston claimed she couldn’t place him, she teased, “But he’s still here lurking on my page.”
She cheekily concluded, “Thanks for being a fan,” adding a kissing emoji while revealing a rude comment he recently left on her social media page.
Comedian Jeff Arcuri and former Bachelorette Katie Thurston are officially husband and wife, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal. Two days before their intimate backyard ceremony in the privacy of their own home on Saturday, March 22, Arcuri let it slip during an interview with Thurston at Us’ New York City office that the twosome were […]
Thurston shared a screenshot from a message Menk allegedly left on her and Jeff Arcuri’s April wedding announcement, where he commented, “Good couple! Both solid 5s.” Menk also included a laughing emoji to further poke fun at the newlyweds.
Thurston didn’t let Menk’s remark get to her — or negate her love for Arcuri, 37. In fact, a few hours later, the former reality star reposted a clip from the couple’s “Off the Vine” podcast appearance where she sang her spouse’s praises.

When host Kaitlyn Bristowe asked, “What’s something you’re both really proud of?” Arcuri pointed to his wife, who is battling stage IV breast cancer. “I’m proud of how, mostly how, she’s not only going through this but, like, excelled through it,” he said.
Thurston got emotional during the joint interview, sharing, “He is something I’m most proud of. I will start crying. Like the way that he’s shown up. He doesn’t know how to show up for a cancer patient, especially one that’s his wife. He has just made so many sacrifices. … I’m so, so, so blessed.”
Katie Thurston and Jeff Arcuri are happily married — and aren’t here for any criticism that they allegedly rushed their union because of her ongoing cancer battle. Thurston, 34, reposted a social media user’s comment about their relationship onto her Instagram Stories on Sunday, May 11. “I think Jeff felt guilty and needed to be […]
Thurston — who married the comedian in March after getting engaged in August 2024 — captioned the clip, “I hope you all find a @jarcuri in your life.”
Fans were introduced to Thurston on season 25 of The Bachelor as she competed for Matt James’ heart. She became the show’s leading lady on season 17 of The Bachelorette, which aired in 2021.

While Menk didn’t appear to leave a lasting impression on Thurston, he did make a splash with his limo entrance when he stepped out with a blow-up doll named Sandy.
He teased at the time that the sex doll was a “huge part” of his life during the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns. While the gimmick made some viewers cringe, Thurston later told Us Weekly that it wasn’t her worst limo arrival.
“The RV was probably my least favorite,” she recalled on Us Weekly’s “Here for the Right Reasons” podcast in June 2021, referring to Jeff Caravello showing up in a trailer. “I’ll take [Cody’s] blow-up doll any day over that RV. That RV was so scary.”
Menk was eliminated during week 2 of the dating series. Thurston eventually chose Blake Moynes for her final rose, and the pair got engaged during the season finale. The couple called it quits in October 2021, and Thurston later dated former season 17 contestant John Hersey. The pair broke up in June 2022.
She found The One in Arcuri in 2024, revealing that May that she was “off the market.” Us confirmed in September 2024 that the pair were engaged, and the following year, Thurston announced her breast cancer diagnosis.
Members of Bachelor Nation have rallied around former lead Katie Thurston as she battles cancer. “Life update: I have breast cancer,” Thurston, 34, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, February 15, revealing how she and fiancé Jeff Arcuri spent their Valentine’s Day. “I used my morning to figure out insurance for NYC and laws on preexisting […]
Throughout her health issues, Arcuri has been by Thurston’s side, and she is remaining positive about their future together.
“My hope for the future is that, whether it’s this year or next year, I’ll be like, ‘Hey, guys, there’s no evidence of disease,’” Thurston said during her “Off the Vine” podcast appearance last month.
She noted, “Even though technically, stage IV is not curable. Technically, medically, I will have breast cancer forever. But with so much advancement happening and the way that I caught it when I did, I’m very optimistic.”
