Justin Bieber throws his support behind his wife Hailey Bieber on new album

Justin Bieber has just dropped his 7th studio album and has thrown support behind his billionaire wife, Hailey Bieber.

The 31-year-old’s new album, Swag, which he announced 24 hours before its release, has just hit the airwaves.

Bieber has come in hot and seems to be directly addressing the backlash that he might not be the most supportive husband.

In the song aptly titled ‘Go Baby,’ the 31-year-old pop singer shouts out his wife and the mother of his child, promising to always be there for her.

“That’s my baby, she’s iconic, iPhone case, lip gloss on it,” he croons.

“And, oh my days, she keeps on talkin’, it’s comedy, just block it, oh, my baby.”

Bieber’s praise comes after Hailey signed a billion-dollar deal in May for her trendy beauty brand, Rhode, and appeared on the June Cover of Vogue.

The 31-year-old pop singer chose to celebrate his wife’s success by taking to Instagram to share that he told his wife she’d never be a cover girl for the influential fashion publication.

“Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight. I told hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes I know, so mean,” he wrote.

The pop star admitted he felt “disrespected” during their argument and gave into a knee-jerk reaction to want to get even.

“I think as we mature we realise that we’re not helping anything by getting even,” he said.

“We’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection. So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken.”

Bieber’s comments didn’t go down well online, with people condemning both his initial remarks and his decision to bring them up again.

“May this love never find me,” one wrote.

“How about stop embarrassing your wife?” Someone suggested.

“Being married to him sounds exhausting,” another said.

Others called his comments “yikes” and argued that by bringing up the argument again he was “ruining her moment” now.

While others advised him not to “humiliate” his wife by sharing these stories and others claimed the comments were “mean” and uncalled for.

The couple has since been battling reports that their marriage could be over, but Bieber seemed to reference his wife very lovingly on several tracks of his new album, including ‘Devotion’ and ‘Forgiveness’.

The pair has even done a couple’s photo shoot to celebrate the release, and Hailey’s been reposting Bieber’s music on her Instagram.
