Josh Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld are married. The couple’s wedding was on Saturday, May 31, in California.
Allen, 29, and Steinfeld, 28, announced their engagement in an Instagram post in November 2024.
The newlyweds were first linked in May 2023 when they were photographed together in New York City.
Where did Josh Allen get married?
The Buffalo Bills quarterback and the actress tied the knot in Southern California on Saturday, according to multiple media sources.
Photos published by People show Steinfeld in a white, strapless bridal gown and Allen dressed in a black tuxedo.
Allen and Steinfeld have kept their romance mostly out of the spotlight. They made their red carpet debut at the NFL Honors on Feb. 6, the night Allen won the NFL MVP award.
Buffalo left tackle Dion Dawkins seemed to leak the wedding date back in March during an interview on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football when he was asked if he was attending any weddings this offseason.
“Soon to come, May 31, it’s happening,” Dawkins said.

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld have been linked to each other since May 2023 when pictures were posted of the couple walking in New York City and at a sushi restaurant.

There were TMZ photos of Allen and Steinfeld kissing on vacation in Mexico. Allen said he could see paparazzi photographers on boats following them.
“The fact that anybody cares about that still blows my mind,” Allen said on the “Pardon My Take” podcast in August 2023. “They were on a boat. I saw them, and I just felt this gross feeling. Insecurity, no privacy. Just like, what is wrong with people.”

The trip to France drew tabloid fodder when video surfaced of the couple on a dinner date and Allen hurried past Steinfeld as she stopped for photos with fans. Allen had a piece of clothing tied around his waist.
“My pants ripped at dinner 🙁🤣 Didn’t want cheeks out… I love Paris 😁” Allen tweeted.
July 2024: Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld are Instagram official
After more than a year of speculation, Allen made their relationship Instagram official in July 2024.
Allen posted a carousel of photos on Instagram that featured pictures of him and Steinfeld in Paris and at a family party. The post was liked by Bills teammates along with Tom Brady and Travis Kelce.

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld announced their engagement with a photo on Instagram of Allen down on one knee proposing, surrounded by an arch of flowers and dozens of candles in front of the ocean in Malibu, California.
“I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,” Allen said in an interview with Steinfeld for her Beau Society newsletter. “It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then multiple times throughout the day a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”
Allen said Steinfeld didn’t know he was going to pop the question, although that morning when the couple was getting ready for brunch she asked him “Can we get married already? What are you waiting for?”
“I said I couldn’t wait any longer. I said I can’t wait to start a family with you. I said your full name, and I asked you very nicely. I said please,” Allen recalled about the moment he popped the question. “You were extremely surprised, you said yes, and that was all that mattered to me. And the sun was out.”
Steinfeld called it the most “magical” day of her life.

Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld walked the red carpet for the NFL’s annual awards ceremony in New Orleans. The Bills quarterback had a perfect night, winning all three awards he was nominated for, including Most Valuable Player.
Allen kissed Steinfeld when he was announced the winner and ended his two minute speech by thanking Steinfeld.
“Last but not least, my fiancee Hailee. You’ve been my rock, my best friend,” Allen said. I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you. So with that being said, be good do good, God bless and go Bills.”

April 22, 2025: Josh Allen happy to cheer on Hailee Steinfeld’s career
Hailee Steinfeld stars in the movie Sinners, which came out during Josh Allen’s football offseason, so it was Allen’s turn to cheer her on.
“It was awesome. Different world. Very cool experience. I’m very excited for her, so proud of her,” Allen told reporters during Bills offseason workouts about attending the Sinners premiere with Steinfeld. ” I’m just there trying to support her in whatever way that I can. That was her moment and I’m so glad she got to shine.”
