Jelly Roll and Shaboozey Face Off in Epic ‘Tournament of Champions’-esque Showdown

Guy Fieriis a staple at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival, but for 2025, he pulled out all the stops by having two of the biggest names in music join him at the Guy Fieri Stagecoach Smokehouse for a culinary showdown.

On Saturday, April 26, Jelly Roll and Shaboozey took to the stage to participate in Fieri’s cooking demonstrations and talk about their favorite foods. According to The Press-Enterprise, Jelly Roll and Shaboozey drew hundreds of spectators who waited for hours to sample the spare ribs they helped cook.

Chatting about their favorite foods, Shaboozey revealed that lasagna cannot be beat, while Jelly Roll said he loves anything breakfast-related. And then Fieri challenged them to “a loaded baked potato showdown.” On the Stagecoach Instagram stories, Fieri introduced the battle as a ” culinary competition, a little TOC,” in reference to the Food Network show he hosts called Tournament of Champions, which just crowned its winner last Sunday (April 20).

For the cook-off, Fieri’s eldest sons Hunter and Ryder were on hand to help along with Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo. In the end, Fieri announced the winner on his Instagram stories, saying, “And the winner will be, for no cash or prizes but just street cred and a lot of smack talk, give it up for Chef Jelly Roll!”

On Instagram, Stagecoach called Jelly Roll, Shaboozey and Fieri the “dream BBQ rotation.” And on his own Instagram, Shaboozey wrote, “Never seen that many people in my life. The family got a lot bigger yesterday! Went from the side stage to the main stage. @stagecoach once again, I love you for everything!”

Shaboozey and Jelly Roll are great friends outside of the culinary thunderdome. They actually released a song together on Friday, April 25 called “Amen,” which is part of Shaboozey’s Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going: The Complete Edition deluxe album.
