The search for the next “American Idol” will continue Monday with Mississippi native Jamal Roberts among the contestants.
The singing show’s judges and fans have been steadily whittling down the competition, leaving the Top 12 contestants to compete for a spot during Monday’s “Iconic Idol Moments” themed episode.
Roberts is a 27-year-old P.E. teacher at Crestwood Elementary School in Meridian, Miss.
