Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts won’t be in attendance when the Eagles are honored for their Super Bowl victory at a White House ceremony on April 28, according to a report.
NBC News White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor reported the news on X at 1 p.m., citing a White House official. The White House told Alcindor that Hurts and other players who can’t attend have “scheduling conflicts.”
Hurts was non-committal when asked about the visit last week at the Time100 Gala.
Hurts started by saying, “Umm.” Then he smiled, looked away and didn’t say anything else.
