The price is right, the locations are convenient, and the fluorescent-colored grins are guaranteed.
7-Eleven’s Free Slurpee Day has officially arrived!
Customers who visit one of the convenience store’s participating locations on July 11 (also know as 7/11), between 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., can get a free Slurpee, while supplies last.
Prepare for lines out the door, sticky floors and the inevitable ice-induced brain freeze. Local franchises have reported giving away more than 3,000 Slurpees within the eight-hour window. (That’s over 6.2 drinks a minute!)
The mini market chain began its annual tradition of giving away the frozen delight as a 75th birthday celebration back in 2002.
2025’s Free Slurpee Day will be recognized as the convenience store’s 98th anniversary.
“This Slurpee Day, we’re mixing things up with new flavors, our celebratory swag and even a twist designed to mark tastebuds in the coolest way possible,” Marissa Jarratt, executive vice president and chief marketing and sustainability officer at 7-Eleven, said in a news release. “We love finding new ways to amp up the Slurpee drink experience and creating lasting moments for our customers, on Slurpee Day and all year round.”
Putting a new spin on this year’s festivities, select stores will be offering free “tongue-toos”. Activated by cold temperature and Slurpee syrup, the so-called tattoo technology will temporarily leave a 7-Eleven signature “S” mark on the colored tongues that the frozen drink leaves behind.
2025’s flavor options include cherry, blue raspberry or MTN DEW Infinite Swirl.
According to 7-Eleven’s website, further 2025 Slurpee Day promotions include:
$7.11 off a purchase of $20 or more on July 11, 2025 by using the code 711DAY via the 7NOW Delivery app.
In-store codes at checkout that can earn you an additional Slurpee redeemable in July
7-Eleven themed party supplies that can be found at 7Collection, the retailer’s official online merchandise shop.
