Tens of thousands of Starlink users reported issues with their service on Thursday afternoon, July 24.
According to outage detector Downdetector, reports of outages with Starlink began to spike around 3:24 p.m. ET with more than 57,000 reports. The problems continued to arise with a peak of more than 58,000 reports at around 3:39 p.m. ET.
As of 4:01 p.m. ET, reports dropped slightly, with only about 34,000 reports being logged to the website.
The outage was confirmed by Starlink in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Starlink is currently in a network outage and we are actively implementing a solution. We appreciate your patience, we’ll share an update once this issue is resolved,” the company said.
