Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever are set to play the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday, July 1. Clark is dealing with a groin injury and will not play in the contest.

Clark missed Thursday night’s loss vs. Los Angeles and Friday’s win over Dallas due to the injury. Fever coach Stephanie White said Sunday that Clark was considered “day to day.” She was upgraded to questionable on Monday before eventually being ruled out Tuesday afternoon.

Clark, a former Iowa women’s basketball star, entered her sophomore campaign as the betting favorite to win MVP in the league.

What are Caitlin Clark’s injuries?

Clark missed Thursday’s game vs. Los Angeles due to a groin injury. The Fever lost 85-75. The injury kept her out of Friday’s victory over Dallas as well. As of Monday, she was listed as questionable but was later ruled out on Tuesday afternoon.

Clark earlier missed five games because of a left quad strain.

Clark previously missed Indiana’s first preseason game because of an injury to the same left quad, but White said that this injury is a new one and not related.

Her first game back was against the Liberty on Saturday, June 14.
