The “Biggest Party of the Summer” has arrived: WWE’s SummerSlam 2025 is going down this weekend at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. For the first time, the blockbuster wrestling event has been expanded to two nights, taking place Aug. 2 and 3.
The star-studded event will be headlined by a rematch between Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. This will be Cena’s final SummerSlam before he retires at the end of the year. But there’s plenty of other great matches on tap this weekend, including a match featuring Logan Paul and WWE newcomer Jelly Roll.

SummerSlam also comes just over a week after the death of WWE legend Hulk Hogan. WWE has already paid tribute to the late wrestler in a couple of its shows, including SmackDown and RAW, but could put on another tribute to Hogan during this weekend’s event.
SummerSlam 2025 is streaming exclusively on Peacock. The streaming service starts at $7.99 a month.
SummerSlam 2025 will take place on Saturday, Aug. 2, and Sunday, Aug. 3. The event will start at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on both days.
