In that game, Brazil’s Lorena received a red card in the 24th minute, making it all the more impressive that Brazil was able to secure a point in that matchup and avoid an outright loss.
To reach the final, Colombia had to survive a goalless draw with Argentina in the semifinals, ultimately securing the win 5-4 in the subsequent penalty shootout.
Brazil, on the other hand, has drawn just once in this tournament, in the aforementioned group-stage matchup against Colombia. Besides that, Brazil has won every game in this competition in impressive fashion, including its most recent victory over Uruguay 5-1 in the semifinals.
