The Boston Red Sox are back in action on Saturday, July 26, once again hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers at Fenway Park in Boston.
The game is scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on FOX. Fans looking to watch this MLB game for free can do so using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial, or FuboTV, which also offers a free trial and up to $25 off your first month. Fans can also watch MLB games for free through MLB.TV, which offers a free trial and has different packages to choose from, including one that allows fans to listen to radio broadcasts with no blackout restrictions. In the series opener on Friday, the Dodgers jumped ahead early, and then added some insurance late as they earned a 5-2 victory over the Red Sox.
Los Angeles right fielder Teoscar Hernandez had 3 RBIs, including a 2-run homer in the eighth that capped the scoring for the night.
For Boston, Jarren Duran had an RBI single in the third and then was brought home by an Alex Bregman RBI double that cut the lead to 3-2, which it stayed for much of the game.
On Saturday, Clayton Kershaw will make his regular season debut at Fenway Park. Despite facing the Red Sox twice in the 2018 World Series, the likely future Hall of Famer has not once gone against Boston in a regular season matchup. He lost twice in the 2018 Fall Classic, first after he allowed 5 earned runs over four innings in Game 1 in Boston and then after he gave up 4 runs over seven innings in the series-clinching Game 5 in Los Angeles. He will be going against Garrett Crochet on Saturday. Crochet is 11-4 on the year with a 1.06 WHIP over 135.1 innings and a 2.19 ERA.
