Arlington, TX (May 30, 2025) – The Dallas Wings will get a second attempt at the Chicago Sky just two days after their first meeting as the Wings and Sky square off on Saturday night in Arlington, Texas. Tipoff at College Park Center is slated for 7 p.m. CT, with the game airing locally in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on KFAA29. Ron Thulin, Fran Harris and Tiffany Bias-Patmon will have the call.

The Wings (1-5) and Sky (1-4) met last night in the Windy City with the home team scoring a 97-92 victory for their first win of the year. Arike Ogunbowale led the Wings with 37 points, matching the single-game high in the WNBA this season. Kamilla Cardoso led Chicago with 23 points and eight boards.

Dallas will be without rookie standout Paige Bueckers, as the team announced earlier today she is in concussion protocol and will miss at least the next two games. Bueckers ranks No. 2 among all rookies in scoring (14.7) and steals (2.0), while leading all newcomers in assists (6.7). She had 15 points, five rebounds, eight assists and a career-high three blocks last night in Chicago.

Saturday’s game marks the Wings’ first home game since May 19, as they just concluded a four-game road swing with consecutive games at Minnesota, Atlanta, Connecticut and Chicago.

Milestone for Myisha … Myisha Hines-Allen reached the 1,000-career rebounds mark in Tuesday’s win at the Connecticut Sun. The 6-1 forward is in her eighth WNBA season. She is currently average 6.5 rebounds per game and has averaged 4.9 over her 206-game career. Hines-Allen, who celebrated her 30th birthday on Friday, also has over 1,600 career points 400 career assists, and 150 career steals.

Rookies On Display … All four of the first-year players on the Dallas Wings roster put up career-best numbers on Tuesday at Connecticut. Paige Bueckers led the charge with 21 points off 8-10 shooting, to go along with five rebounds, a game-high seven assists, two steals and a block. Aziaha James came off the bench to score nine points in nine minutes, going 2-3 from three while making all three free-throw attempts. JJ Quinerly added five points off the bench, going 2-2 from the field, while Luisa Geiselsöder saw her first game action and sank her lone field goal attempt.

Full Circle Moment … Dallas Wings Head Coach Chris Koclanes scored his first win as a WNBA head coach on Tuesday at the Connecticut Sun. With a large amount of family present, the New York native picked up the win where he had started his WNBA journey. Koclanes served on the Connecticut Sun staff from 2016-22, including as defensive coordinator when the Sun reached the 2019 and 2022 WNBA Finals as well as the 2020 and 2021 Semifinals.

Return to Texas … Several of the new faces on the Wings roster have strong Texas ties. DiJonai Carrington and NaLyssa Smith both played collegiately at Baylor, while Smith is a San Antonio native. Tyasha Harris was drafted seaventh overall by the Dallas Wings and spent her first three professional seasons with the team before making her return this offseason.

New season, new faces … Dallas announced its official 2025 roster on May 15, consisting of just three returning players from the 2024 season (McCowan, Ogunbowale, Siegrist). The Wings’ new additions span from its draft class and free agency signings to the front office, where several key leadership additions mark a new era in franchise history.

#WingsUp … The official hashtag for the 2025 season is #WingsUp, to celebrate the franchise’s 10th season in North Texas. The Wings have advanced to the WNBA Playoffs five of their first nine seasons in Dallas, including reaching the Semifinals in 2023.

Wings expand distribution for Local Broadcasts … Two months after naming TEGNA station KFAA in Dallas-Fort Worth, its exclusive local broadcast partner, the Wings are expanding their broadcast reach through additional agreements with TEGNA, Gray Media, and Corridor Television. The agreement will triple the team’s local TV footprint, bringing free, over-the-air Wings games to 6.3 million households across 12 markets during the 2025 season. The agreements position the Wings as a league leader in geographic reach and among the best in number of households with access to local broadcasts
