Despite playing its first playoff game at home since winning the Stanley Cup, and scoring first, the Florida Panthers were kind of lackluster in a 5-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 3 at Amerant Bank Arena. Jake Guentzel (1G/2A) and Nikita Kucherov (3A) were too much for the Panthers in the Saturday matinée that saw Lightning break open a tight game with three goals in the third period. Matthew Tkachuk lit the lamp 2:43 into the action, but the Cats couldn’t solve First Star Andrei Vasilevskiy (33 saves) the rest of the way. Brayden Point, Luke Glendening and Anthony Cirelli also tallied for the Bolts, who cut its series deficit in half.
