Before Gabby Windey said “I do” to Robby Hoffman, she said “yes” to Erich Schwer’s proposal on season 19 of The Bachelorette.
Bachelor Nation fans met Erich, 32, as one of the men hoping to win either Gabby, 35, or her fellow leading lady Rachel Recchia’s affections on The Bachelorette in 2022. After choosing to pursue Gabby, Erich got down on one knee during the show’s September 2022 season finale. Just two months later, however, the pair called it quits while Gabby was competing on Dancing With the Stars season 31.
“I think he is a really good guy. I think we’re just not each other’s people, unfortunately,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2022. “I don’t wanna sound dismissive at all ’cause, you know, leaving the show you really do want, hope and think that this is ‘The One’ for you. I’m so ready to find my forever person, but I know now that it’s gonna come with time and I want it to be the right person, not just a person.”
Gabby moved on with Hoffman, 35, in summer 2023, coming out on The View that August. Erich, for his part, found new love with model Elizabeth Turner. He confirmed their relationship on Valentine’s Day in February 2023 by sharing an Instagram Story snap of her kissing him on the cheek, which he captioned, “Valentine.”

Elizabeth gave fans another glimpse into their relationship just days later by sharing a sweet pic of herself and Erich cuddling up during a night out. The two have rarely appeared on each other’s social media since launching their romance, but as of Wednesday, March 5, Erich and Elizabeth still follow each other on Instagram.
On The Bachelorette, Erich was introduced to viewers as a real estate analyst from New Jersey. Since the reality show, he has moved across the country to Los Angeles. “After months of trying to convince @johnnydephillipo to move to LA … he’s still not moving here,” he captioned April 2023 Instagram pics of himself hanging with fellow Bachelor Nation stars Johnny DePhillipo and Aaron Clancy.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Erich last worked as an acquisitions analyst for the real estate company Rexford Industrial from November 2021 to March 2022. Outside of real estate, Erich has pursued a modeling career and uses his social media following to promote brands. One of his most notable partnerships is with Fabletics, working as a brand ambassador for the workout clothing company.
Bachelorette fans can also receive their own personalized message from Erich on the popular video platform Cameo, which he sells for $45 a video.
On Wednesday, Gabby announced that she and Hoffman had secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas after two years of dating on January 11.

“We had just evacuated from the [L.A.] fires. Literally cue Rihanna, ‘We found love in a hopeless place,’” she told Cosmopolitan in an interview published on Wednesday. “What better time to get married than right now? Because if the world is ending, we want to be with each other.”
The Traitors star also revealed it was her idea to get married in Sin City. “Robby was literally ready to propose three weeks in and I’m always the one pumping the breaks, but when something feels right, it just feels right,” she explained. “I think it was better for the both of us that it was my idea.”
