Fever looking to end 2-game losing streak while stopping Aces’ 3-game winning streak | Fever Minute

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever return home for the first time in 10 days to take on the Las Vegas Aces at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 24 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, with the game airing on WTHR Channel 13.

Caitlin Clark is out for her 13th game of the season while still dealing with a right groin injury. The Fever have lost back-to-back games vs. the Liberty since she’s returned to the injury list.

With the Aces coming to town Thursday, the Fever need to start stacking days again. It’s been a long couple of weeks after a three-game winning streak at home, followed by back-to-back games on the road heading to the All-Star break.

Indiana, once again without Clark, needs to keep building on success when they take the floor each and every day.

The Fever should also continue to feed Kelsey Mitchell, who has had the hot hand over the last few weeks. She recently scored 29 points in the loss to the Liberty Tuesday night in Brooklyn. She’s currently averaging 19.5 points per game this season.

Lastly, the Fever should start building momentum, while also halting momentum. As previously mentioned, Indiana has lost back-to-back games, while the Aces have surged to being above .500 for the first time this season during a current three-game winning streak.

Let’s see if the Fever can stop the Aces’ momentum and pick up some momentum in the process.

Tip-off is once again scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, July 24 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and can be watched on WTHR, your local TV home of the Indiana Fever.
