The first evacuation orders have been issued from the Cantilever Bar wildfire burning southwest of Lytton.
The Lytton First Nation is ordering residents out of two of its reservation areas adjacent to the eastern flank of the fire.
Not clear how many people it may impact.
LFN leadership is asking those impacted to register at the local community centre.
To this point, members of the Lytton, Siska and Scuppah First Nations had been on evacuation alert.
Not clear at this point what may have prompted the Lytton First Nation to take action.
It comes as the fire was able to grow by about 200 hectares through Wednesday, despite efforts by dozens of BC Wildfire Service fire fighters to try to keep the blaze from growing downward toward the populated areas near the west banks of the Fraser River.
