Tiffany Haddish has taken the “I’m a mommy. Mommy? I’m a mom. Mamacita!” meme to a whole new level.

Best known for her breakout role in Girls Trip, Haddish shocked fans everywhere by posting two photos with Jason Lee and a baby boy, seemingly announcing that she had welcomed a baby with a man nobody knew she was dating.

This news comes just months after Haddish announced that she was keeping her dating options open. Back in May, the comedian visited Late Night with Seth Meyers, where she confessed, “I’m still dating multiple people, but new multiple people,” joking that she had an entire roster of guys, even though she hadn’t had “sex since October.”

Haddish and Lee shared what seem to be baby announcement photos. “Cats out the bag ❤️” they captioned their joint Instagram post on August 4, which had many wondering if Haddish had a secret baby with Lee.

If the name Jason Lee rings a bell, you aren’t alone. In February 2o22, Lee went viral when his company, Hollywood Unlocked, falsely announced that Queen Elizabeth II had died. At the time, Lee told Buzzfeed, “People are asking why we posted without allowing the royal family or the Palace to release a statement. Why? Because we break stories. And I’ve broken many stories that have been factual. We have never been wrong.” (Queen Elizabeth II didn’t die until September 2022.)

Fan reactions to Haddish and Lee’s post have been incredibly varied. While some commenters believe that their “family” photo might just be Lee’s next viral post, others have taken to congratulating the duo on what seems like a new addition to their family. Rolexis Schinsing, a celebrity makeup artist and hairstylist, even posted to her Instagram Story, “I finally get to tell everyone about my godchild!!” Actress Tasha Smith commented, “What does this mean.”
