Country starZac Brown, 46, is engaged. The Zac Brown Band frontman and jewelry designer Kendra Scott announced their engagement on Thursday, July 24, 2025, after hard-launching their relationship at the 2025 American Music Awards in May.
The happy couple told People magazine, “We are so happy and grateful that we found each other,” while sharing photos of Scott’s stunning pink diamond ring.
Brown, 46, and Scott, 51, who met through mutual friends, have both been married before. Scott has been married three times and shares two children with her first husband, John Scott, and one child with her second husband, Matt Davis. Brown was previously married to Shelby Brown, with whom he shares five children, and to model Kelly Yazdi, whom he married and separated from in 2023.
On a social media post shared to Instagram, fans were both thrilled and stunned over the couple’s engagement announcement. One fan wrote, “What a great match,” while another added, “What in the chicken fried…?”
While some commenters referenced Brown’s 2024 defamation lawsuit against Yazdi, most celebrated the newly engaged couple with a simple, “Congratulations.”
The news comes on the heels of The Zac Brown Band’s announcement they’ll perform a residency at the Sphere Las Vegas, which extends through January 2026.
