Former UFC champion Conor McGregor, 37, is once again facing controversy — this time involving explicit allegations from American rapper Azealia Banks.
On Monday, the 34-year-old rapper posted a series of messages on her official X account, claiming that McGregor had sent her unsolicited explicit images. In a thread, Banks shared two screenshots of what appeared to be McGregor and accused him of both sexual misconduct and intimidation.
“How you gonna send a b—h a some crooked d–k pics then threaten her not to tell,” she wrote. “Do you know who the f–k I am?”
Banks did not specify when the alleged exchange occurred, but continued her posts by criticizing McGregor’s appearance and referencing his recent public comments about running for president of Ireland.
“Like how are you really going to sexually harrass [sic] me with the potato farmer d–k then threaten me not to tell????” she continued. “Ain’t u trying to be the president of Ireland what is it giving fam? Use some f–king sunscreen damn.”
McGregor, who has not fought in the UFC since July 2021, has not publicly responded to the allegations. As of Monday afternoon, Banks’ posts remain live.
This marks the latest in a string of legal and public controversies for McGregor. In 2024, he was ordered by an Irish court to pay nearly €200,000 in damages to a woman who accused him of rape — a civil case stemming from an alleged 2018 incident.
McGregor denied wrongdoing and has since appealed the ruling.
He also remains the subject of an ongoing civil case in the United States, where a woman alleged he sexually assaulted her in a bathroom during Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Miami’s Kaseya Center in June 2023. McGregor has denied those allegations through legal counsel.
Neither McGregor nor his representatives have issued a statement addressing Banks’ claims.
Parade reached out to Banks’ representatives, but did not immediately hear back.
The controversy comes as speculation swirls about McGregor’s next steps both professionally and politically. He has teased a UFC return and floated the idea of running for public office in Ireland.
Adding to the scrutiny, photos surfaced on Sunday showing McGregor in Fort Lauderdale appearing to kiss an unidentified woman on the beach. He has been engaged to his longtime partner Dee Devlin, with whom he shares four children, since 2020.
