With 218 runs in five innings, including a century against Pakistan and a match-winning fifty in semi-final against Australia, Kohli finished fourth on the batting charts of the tournament, with Englishmen Ben Duckett (227), Joe Root (225) and New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra (263) ahead of him. However, the 36-year-old Kohli can gun down two milestones during India’s chase to clinch a record third Champions Trophy title.

Kohli finished this edition as the second highest run-scorer of the Champions Trophy, behind Chris Gayle (791). Kohli’s best campaign was in the 2017 CT edition in England where he scored 258 runs in five innings.
