As Catherine Zeta-Jones prepares to reprise her role as gothic style icon Morticia Addams in Wednesday Season 2, she’s tapping into the character’s dark feminine aesthetic. The Welsh actress leaned into a method dressing moment at the Netflix series premiere in London on Tuesday, July 20, wowing from every angle in a femme fatale-coded LBD with a massive chest cutout that plunged to her belly.
In contrast to the whimsical Emily in Paris-coded fishnet beret and riding gloves she sported just days earlier at a Wednesday photo call at London’s Natural History Museum, Zeta-Jones went dark and vampy with a sultry black gown that dramatically trailed behind her for her latest appearance. Posing at Westminster’s Central Hall, the Mask of Zorro star showed off her halter-neck dress’s 3D mesh ruffles, which added a sculptural, wave-like effect jutting out along her skirt, hips, and bodice.

Showing off her gown’s plunging backless design from behind, Zeta-Jones also flashed plenty of skin with a large keyhole cut-out that broke up her mock-neck bodice’s fitted design. Meanwhile, as she walked, an ultra-thigh-high slit in front offered a glimpse of the star’s bare legs and a pair of divisive sheer black fishnet heels.

Zeta-Jones wore her signature jet-black locks in a sleek ballerina bun, putting the focus on her dramatic LBD and her equally head-turning glam while showing off a pair of bedazzled, spider-like ear cuffs that added a witchy touch.
Posing alongside co-stars like Jenna Ortega (who was her sartorial opposite in a sheer, nude-colored snakeskin-print gown), Luis Guzmán, and Fred Armisen, the No Reservations star highlighted her dark eyes with an equally smoky black eyeliner and burgundy eyeshadow, while a sculpted wine flush and a deek purple gradient lipstick added a pop of color to her otherwise all-black look (in the most gothic way possible).
