A versatile target who can dominate from the slot or win on the outside, Godwin is a complete receiver with route-running acumen and YAC ability. Keeping the wideout teamed with the ageless Mike Evans and ascending Jalen McMillan gives Baker Mayfield one of the top trios in the NFL.

With McMillan’s emergence down the stretch of last season, expect Godwin to return to a slot-heavy role in 2025 under new offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard after the veteran spent more time wide early last season under Liam Coen.

Keeping Godwin under contract was a priority for general manager Jason Licht, but so was upgrading the pass rush. Adding Reddick on a one-year pact fits the bill.

Rapoport reported that the pass rusher agreed to terms with the Bucs on a one-year, $14 million contract that includes $12 million guaranteed, per sources informed of the situation.

A two-time Pro Bowler, Reddick is coming off a wayward season in which he held out in hopes of getting a raise from the New York Jets following a trade from Philadelphia. The endeavor didn’t work out. The 30-year-old ultimately reported but was significantly disappointing in 10 games with Gang Green. He generated a single sack and 14 total tackles.

The Bucs are banking on a motivated Reddick bouncing back to form in 2025 to prove last season was an aberration. Adding the veteran is a start, but it won’t preclude Licht from selecting another edge player in the early rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft.
