The Texans are signing Braxton Berrios, a receiver who most recently played for the Miami Dolphins..

Houston may be getting a social media star.

The receiver is dating social media influencer Alix Earle, who boasts more than seven million followers on TikTok and four million followers on Instagram. The two became a couple in mid-2023 ahead of Berrios’ first season with the Dolphins.

She shared the news of Berrios’ new team on her social channels with a bit of ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ by Beyoncé in the background.

“Braxton got the call today he will be playing for the Houston Texans this next year!! So incredibly proud & CAN’T WAIT to see what this next year brings.♥”

Earle regularly attended Berrios’ games in Miami. Whether that continues in Houston is unknown. But by bringing Berrios to Houston, the Texans might have just increased their following and created interest amongst a different audience.
