At noon ET, the 2025 NFL year will unofficially begin.
Tampering has long been a problem in the NFL, especially with free agency. It got so bad the NFL made an official tampering period where teams and free agents can talk prior to the beginning of the new league year.
No deal can officially be signed until March 12th this year, but you can expect most of the excitement to happen over the legal tampering period.

QB Sam Darnold not expected to re-sign with Vikings
Among those options for the Vikings is re-signing veteran Daniel Jones, who is mulling multiple opportunities including that with the Indianapolis Colts, per Rapoport and Pelissero. Aaron Rodgers, who remains under contract with the Jets, is considered a dark-horse candidate to land in Minnesota, per Rapoport.
