Saturday Night Live returned this weekend, with singer and actress Lady Gaga doing both hosting and musical guest duties, singing two songs from her brand new album, MAYHEM.

During the Weekend Update portion of the episode, Kenan Thompson joined Colin Jost and Michael Che as ESPN commentator and former Boston Celtic Kendrick Perkins (who’s been feuding with Charles Barkley). In the sketch, Perkins addressed the trade of Luka Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers, Stephen A. Smith (who just got a huge contract from ESPN), the MVP race and more.

“Stephen A. Smith just got 100 million dollars to go on ESPN every day and talk nothing but nonsense, and I want a piece of that, too,” Thompson said.
